Life Lately

With the days getting longer and warmer it has been so nice to be able to go outside when it's not raining and play with family and friends. Here is a glimpse of what we have been up to! Can I just say that I LOVE having family so close. On days when my energy is low, which happens a lot more these days, it's so nice to drive down the street for back up! :)

Nina and Charlotte working on dying some eggs.

Having so much fun!

Days at home are fun too! Getting dressed up in mommy's clothes.

Going to the greenway to explore and run off some energy!

This is an EVERY DAY thing around here.... she knows she can play with all my bracelets and boy does she...

Easter egg hunt with our small group... such a fun day!

Fun craft day with our iMOM table.

Coloring her egg.

Decorating her jewelry box on a rainy morning, this girl is always up for a craft!

Fun times with Nina.

She is still getting used to textures, she wasn't sure at first but ended up loving it!

Baby Showers

Kyle and I were blessed with two showers for Sawyer Luke! We had most of all the bigger items, but still needed the necessities. Since we had a little girl first everything was pink and very girly which meant we had no clothes to pass down except for a few white onesies. One shower was with a few of my girlfriends, we had such a fun time catching up over brunch and celebrating Sawyer! Kelly and Amanda were lovely hosts and had everything perfect! Our next shower was with immediate family and a few of my moms close girlfriends. It was a great afternoon at the Chocolate Covered Strawberry! It's been so much fun getting his room together and folding up all his tiny clothes. Can't wait to see what kind of dynamic he brings to our family.... we will know in about 5 weeks!

This is how my sweet girl welcomed me home after the shower.... love her!

St. Patricks Day

This week we celebrated St. Patricks Day in style, we went green and did some fun crafts to go along with the theme of the day. It has been so fun to start these traditions with her. :)

Working on her masterpiece. She wanted complete control over what colors she chose.... she even got so into it that she put her brush down and went in with her hands.

We did this craft together, I guided her little hand to make a rainbow. We talked about the colors, what a rainbow means, and the shamrock. With her being only two we kept terms pretty simple....

After finishing up our crafts we headed out to Hendersonville Produce and picked up lunch.  We took it to the greenway for a picnic. Afterwards we hunted around for clovers and she ran the trails.
During nap time I started to prepare dinner.... we finished off our St. Patty's Day celebration by eating shepherds pie and cheesy garlic bread. It was a great day!

Spring-Like Days

With the weather in the 70's this week we had to get out and enjoy the fresh air. It seems like it has been a LOOOONG Winter and we are so ready for warm days. Charlotte has always loved being outdoors....this year will be super fun!

Sidewalk chalk fun!

We pulled out some of her toys... she was really happy about it. :)

My sweet girl. Soaking up these last weeks of it just being us. She is about to be a big sister and has no clue!

Snow Days

After waiting almost all winter long we finally got a good snow! Kyle and I LOVE snow days and get so excited at the thought of getting "snowed in". We were at my parents when the ice started so we decided to just stay the night at their house and enjoy our what the next few days had in store.

Charlotte eating her eggs!

Nina took Char out to enjoy the icy driveway.

This picture does not do it justice, but the trees were beautiful covered in ice.

The next day we headed to Michael and Adrians to play in what was left.

Cole and Cade having fun sledding down the hill.

My sweet girl.

Playing with icicles are fun fun...

We had a fun few days as a family and being with family.
