Snow Days

After waiting almost all winter long we finally got a good snow! Kyle and I LOVE snow days and get so excited at the thought of getting "snowed in". We were at my parents when the ice started so we decided to just stay the night at their house and enjoy our what the next few days had in store.

Charlotte eating her eggs!

Nina took Char out to enjoy the icy driveway.

This picture does not do it justice, but the trees were beautiful covered in ice.

The next day we headed to Michael and Adrians to play in what was left.

Cole and Cade having fun sledding down the hill.

My sweet girl.

Playing with icicles are fun fun...

We had a fun few days as a family and being with family.

Valentines Day

Valentines Day this year was super low key, we woke up and had breakfast then headed upstairs to let Charlotte play and open her gifts. Kyle got Charlotte her very own jewelry box that she can decorate and a cute book called, I Love You Beary Much. He did such a good job picking out her gifts... he said since she loves to go through my jewelry he wanted to get her one and since we call her boo bear he got her a book with a bear. If that doesn't melt your heart then I don't know what would. I picked up a cute felt envelope that we can use year to year and a Sophia coloring book. She felt pretty special as she should. :)
Showing daddy her jewelry box.

So happy about her Sophia coloring book!

Later that afternoon we headed to Hendersonville Produce for the Farm Fest.... it was a packed house and a huge success! Charlotte got her picture taken by the owner of Juice Nashville and they posted it on their instagram. :) She loves JUICE!

That evening Kyle and I attended one of my girlfriends wedding. It was a lovely night celebrating our friends and having fun with lots of other couples. :)
Thankful for these lasting friendships I've made over the years.

My Valentine for 10 years now. :) Our love grows stronger each and every year.... so thankful for what he means to me!

Girls Only...

For Valentines Day I wanted to throw a small party for Charlotte and a few of her little girlfriends. We decorated the night before and started getting the food ready, I could tell Charlotte knew something fun was going to happen. The next morning she got all dolled up in one of her new birthday outfits, she felt so pretty and even showed the girls her skirt when they walked in... so sweet! One of the families could not make it, but we made the best of our morning and Charlotte had a blast getting some play time in.

Ready for the party!

Charlotte picked these Sophia crowns out for her party.

Little cutie!

Those cheeks!

Getting her craft on.

Sweeties.

The crafts turned out really cute!

The kids had heart shaped pepperonis, veggie chips, string cheese, strawberries, and grapes. Oh and they also had yogurt and fruit snacks. :)

Charlotte turns 2!!

Has another year passed us by already? I can not believe our sweet girl is a two year old, she is getting so big and has so much personality these days. She LOVES farm animals so what better way then to have a farm party. My grandparents were kind enough to let us invade their home and goat farm for the party. For a February birthday we had the PERFECT day, it was so pretty and we were able to spend most of it outside.

We had such a fun day celebrating our girl with family and friends. Thankful for another year of life, she has big things coming and doesn't even know it. She is so special to us and I hope she feels our love everyday.
