FUN!

Last Thursday Kyle and I were able to keep our nephews over night. We went outside for a bit before dinner, we played, and watched Wipeout! In preparation to be woken up during the night I headed to bed early, come to find out it wasn't as hard as I thought it would be (I do realize it was only ONE night though). I tend to be super serious about my sleep and we always joke that I am going to be a zombie when our time for kids come. On Friday, I took Cole with me to work, he and Aleah like to play together so it worked out perfectly! Our favorite part of the day was playing outside, we played soccer, kickball, red light green light, freeze tag, golf, and made grass cakes! I love all these precious kiddos and enjoy my time with them! :)

Cute Cade! Enjoying the nice weather on Thursday night!

LOVE Day!

This Valentines Day was spent taking care of two little girls that were high on sugar! We had a fun day playing, visiting our favorite store (Hendersonville Produce), we made a card for their parents, and ate some cute Valentine treats! Although I enjoy my time with the girls, I was anxious to get home to see what my surprise was! I walk through the door and see a Predators shirt on the table, my guess was right, we were going to my very first Preds game! After eating at one of my favorite places, SATCO, we made our way to the Bridgestone Arena. Watching the game was super fun, glad I was able to experience this with Kyle!

Our Valentine decorated home! Thank you Kyle for the beautiful roses.... flowers are my FAVORITE!

Kyle's present was a 5 in 1 reflector, and he also got small gifts each day counting down to Valentines.... hence the Pop Rocks. :) Kyle returned the favor with sweet notes every day, I think that was my favorite gift.

Thank you Kyle for such a nice evening... you planned a awesome night! :)

Yes, I am really drinking coffee at the game!

Everyone cheering... the game was so close towards the end!

Fun day at Hendersonville Produce, the girls LOVE it here!

Valentine Party!

Monday we started the week out with a FUN Valentine party for the kids that I nanny for and invited a few of their friends! The kids went on a scavenger hunt through the house and got prizes at each of the 7 hiding spots, they made Valentine tree art, then we let them play while lunch was being prepared. After lunch the kids exchanged Valentine cards which was so cute to watch! :)

Cole read all of the clues for the scavenger hunt.

Cade had to borrow a bib, at least it went with our theme!

Yummy fruity pebble rice krispy treats!

Girl Day!

Last Saturday I was able to have a super fun girl day all because of the birthday girl, Cori! She planned a lunch out at the Wild Goose in East Nashville and dessert at Jeni's, we went to see The Vow, and then back to her house to eat dinner and make a pinterest project! Going into the day I only knew a handful of the ladies and by the end of the night all of the ladies had become my friend.

The BEST sandwich I have had in a very long time!

Fun group of girls!

Lemon Sugar Scrub. 2 1/2 cups of sugar, 1 cup of oil, 4 tablespoons of lemon juice. Stir together and put in jar. So easy and works really well!

Life Lately..

Life lately has been very chill....January has been a breath of fresh air, a time of relaxation and reflection. Birthday parties, beautiful days, lots of cooking and baking, craft making, organizing, taking L-O-N-G peaceful walks, and surprises(and NO I'm not preggo!) has graced us this month!

Love this lady right here!

Happy Birthday!

The waiter did not get her good enough so I had to!

Aleah turns 4.... can you tell who her favorite princess is??

You guessed it... Ariel!

Little Reese trying to be grown sitting in Aleah's princess chair!

Playing with the neighbors is one of our favorite things!

Homemade granola bars for when I feel like snacking!

I had Reese all to myself, we enjoyed a walk around the neighborhood!

When I got home, Kyle and I took our two girls on a walk!

Wedding Show!

This past weekend Kyle and I attended The Sumner County Bridal Show at The Epic Event Center in Gallatin. We were very pleased with all the foot traffic, Kyle had a lot of brides that were very interested in his work and many have already contacted him about shooting their wedding! We were also able to build relationships with many of the vendors! I am believing this wedding season is going to be Kyle's most successful one! If you know someone that is planning their special day and is in need a photographer, contact Kyle... he's your man! His website is www.kgcapture.com or find him on Facebook www.facebook.com/kgcapture. He also does family portraits, babies, and seniors!

Goody bags I made for the first 100 brides that walked through the door!

Setting up on Saturday.

This finished product!

SO EXCITED about all the possibilities that this year holds!
