The Joys of Babysittng!! :)

Yesterday was my first day to babysit this summer! We had so much fun! When I first got to thier house they were starving for breakfast so I made them some bagels with cream cheese and Strawberries! While they were eating breakfast I started making thier lunch for the park. We later went to the park and fed the ducks and then played on the playground, about 2 hours later we went home and I put Jack down for a nap and Emily and I watched Mr. Rogers, Reading Rainbow and a few more shows. Jack took a great nap and when he woke up we went out to play outside and blow some bubbles!!! We had a blast, tomorrow I will have these little guys again and I can not wait they are so much fun!!

Today I am trying to get things lined up for next semester, I believe that I may be changing my major and getting things all switched over and figuring out how long it will take me to get through with school is giving me a headache!! I am ready to get out of the house and have some fun, until then I will be cleaning and getting ready for tonight.

Fun Fun!!

Yesterday was a GREAT day I got up and opened my moms shop (Hendersonville Produce), when she got there we got to talking about my job that I currently had and she got to asking me when I was going to give my two weeks.... I was like well today would be the perfect day!! So I left from there and went to material things, I sat down and talked with the manager. By the end of the conversation I had quit my job, haha I know that this may sound bad that im so excited about it, but mulitple things have been leading up to this point. Over all it was a great place and I learned alot, made new friends, ect, but it was time for me to move on. After I left there, went back to moms store picked up a few things and then went and ran some arrons. I got the invite to go to the park with Adrian and Cole to have some lunch and just hang out at the park it was Tons of Fun and it was nice to catch up with Adrian. Later I went to Lifeway to look around and then came back to the store to close up! That night I went to Kyles to eat and hang out with his family. Yesterday was lots of fun, I really enjoy staying busy with fun things, man this summer is going to be great!!
Today was much slower.... and somewhat boring. I was by myself for the majority of the day, just reading my favorite books, Keren Kingsbury!! I am almost finished with the last book in the "R" series. Tomorrow I am going Strawberry Picking with Adrians Mops group along with Connie and Cole and im super excited!! It will be fun and im sure i will post up some pics! :)

This weekend was absolutly perfect and also a GREAT way to start the summer off! Kyle had a rehearsal dinner and wedding to go to this weekend and I went along with him. We had the best time! At the rehearsal we were able to meet the family and the videographer and his wife, they were all just lovely! Kyle and I got to the bride's house around 11 that morning to start shooting and we did not leave until around 11 that night when the reception was over. It was such a blast helping Kyle out, wherever he needed me or whatever he needed me to do I was there!

Sunday was also a great day! In the blog below I talk a lot about how I want to be under the will of God, well low and behold what do we talk about on Sunday!?!?! In Sunday school we learned 4 Investments in Relationships which was great, then in the service my dad preached about Peter, the title of his message was "The Rooster has Crowed Loudly" meaning to be a wake up call to the church. One of the verses that he read was from Luke 22:31-32,
And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat. 32) But I have PRAYED for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren. That really spoke volumes to me because it shows how badly the devil wants to defeat us and bring us down, but GOD says hold on he is mine I have prayed for him, he may slip and fall but in the end he is my child!!! I love it!
Later that night my grandfather preached and the title of his message was... "The Will of God", well well he couldn't have planned that any better! When he said that I leaned over to Kyle and said, did you read my blog haha!! This message was just a reminder that for my life to reflect what God has for me I need to stay in the word and learn how to pray effectivly! One of the verses he used was John 15:7,
If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what you will, and it shall be done unto you.

Above is a picture of some flowers I just thought were pretty! :)

Soul Searching

Yesterday was finally my last day of school!! I felt like a huge burden had been lifted off my shoulders as I walked out the doors! All that is left is the antcipation of the grade posting, not my favorite thing. This summer I will be doing some Serious soul searching on really what I am supossed to do in life. Suprisingly this semester did not really fulfill all the hopes that I had, while much was accomplished and my brain/knowledge was streched, for some reason something is missing. Trully I thought that design was what I wanted to do, but unfortunitly towards the end of the semester my thoughts has changed quite a bit. In school the creativity that people have are overlooked with all the technicalities of design. Design to me has always been a way to express your creative side, while still keeping in mind the saftey, and welfare of others. I had a talk with one of my teachers yesterday and she encouraged me to stay in the program reassuring me that everything was going to be ok and that I should move forward with the degree I had set out for. But after driving home, relaxing, and pulling all my thoughts together I asked myself where is God in all this planning I had made for myself, shouldnt He be the one that needs to be doing the planning for me??? WOW, maybe that is why this doesnt feel right, maybe that is why I feel like somethings missing! All that I really want is to completly be under the will of God, whether that means starting over in a new career path or going in the way of ministry whatever it may be I am willing!! Its totally NO fun going against what God already has planned for you; ya feel nothing but miserable. The verse that I hold on to is Jer. 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you, plans to give you hope, and a future. I know that God has great plans for my life and nothing but good will come out of all this, but until then I will wait patiently and seek His word.
